Thank you for choosing RPE Controls. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the RPE Controls products, software, and services via our websites including RPE Controls products sold by resellers. This is a legal agreement between you and RPE Controls. Read the Terms and Conditions carefully before using our products and services.

1. Intellectual property

Content on this Website, including text, logos, graphics, software, product names, and technologies—is the intellectual property of RPE Controls or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.
You may not copy, distribute, modify, or reproduce any part of the Website or Services without prior written consent.

2. Product Use

Our devices are designed for their intended purposes only. You agree to operate the devices and systems responsibly, ensuring they are used only for their intended purpose within suitable environmental conditions. RPE Controls is not responsible for any damages or issues arising from misuse, improper installation, or environmental factors outside our control.

3. Installation and Support

We provide installation manuals and documentation to assist with setup. Independent installation services are available upon request but are not included with our products. 
We provide comprehensive after-sales support including technical assistance, troubleshooting guidance, and maintenance services. Support is available through our customer service hotline, email support, and online resources.

4. Warranty

4.1 Warranty Coverage

RPE Controls provides a limited warranty for all hardware products, valid for 18 months from the invoice date. An extended warranty option is available, extending coverage to a total of 48 months (18 months standard plus an additional 30 months).

4.2 Coverage Scope

The warranty covers manufacturing defects in components or materials, hardware failures under normal operating conditions, and products failing to meet published technical specifications or perform as documented. This warranty applies exclusively to products purchased directly from RPE Controls or through authorized distributors.

4.3 Warranty Remedies

Upon a valid claim, RPE Controls may repair, replace (with new or refurbished parts), or issue store credit/refund at our discretion. Repairs or replacements are warranted for the longer of the remaining original warranty or 90 days from the repair/replacement date.

4.4 Exclusions and Limitations

This warranty does not cover damages caused by:  
  • Improper installation, incorrect handling, misuse, neglect, or accidents.
  • Any unauthorized modifications, alterations, or repairs performed by persons or entities not authorized by RPE Controls.
  • Electrical surges, incorrect voltage, lightning, or environmental damage (moisture, dust, extreme temperatures).
  • Cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents, or discoloration that do not affect the operational performance of the product.
  • Software, firmware, or configuration errors made by the user or third-party software.
  • Purchases from unauthorized channels, including counterfeit items.

4.5 How to Claim a Warranty

  1. Contact RPE Controls by email at info@rpecontrols.com with your original invoice number, serial number(s) of the product(s) in question, and a detailed description of the defect or issue.
  2. Provide any requested diagnostic information, photos, or videos that may assist in evaluating the claim.
  3. Obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number from RPE Controls prior to shipping the product.
  4. Carefully package the product to prevent further damage during transit and clearly mark the RMA number on the outside of the package.
  5. Ship the product to the address provided by RPE Controls. Note that items sent without a valid RMA will be refused and returned at the sender’s expense.

4.6 Shipping, Repair, and Return Policy

  1.  Customer is responsible for the cost of shipping products to RPE Controls for warranty evaluation, repair, or replacement. 
  2. RPE Controls will cover the cost of shipping repaired or replacement products back to the customer within the warranty coverage terms.
  3. International customers are responsible for customs duties and taxes. We recommend customers review their local import regulations before shipping.

4.7 Limitation of Liability

RPE Controls’ liability is limited to repair or replacement of defective products. We are not liable for indirect damages, data loss, or business interruption. Labor costs for installation or reinstallation are not covered.

5. Disclaimer

Outside of normal usage and proper installation, RPE Controls shall not be responsible for any damages, malfunctions, or issues arising from misuse, unauthorized modifications, or neglect. Users are advised to follow all provided instructions and guidelines to ensure optimal performance.

6. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RPE Controls, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, obligations, or losses arising from your use of the Services or your violation of these Terms.

7. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of the relevant jurisdiction. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts within that jurisdiction.
